Jason from our Pembroke Road service took his first trip to London, a much anticipated trip. After an easy train trip there they went straight to London zoo. Jason a big cat super fan was particularly happy as the lions had cubs, and the tigers were close by (with glass between them) Jason couldn't see all of the zoo, as he needed to get to White Chaple for a Jack the ripper tour. This was one of the main reasons for the trip. Jason got stuck in being a ripperologist he was very knowledgeable already and often helped out the guide.
Next day Jason chose to visit the Tower of London, which he really enjoyed. He took his time with lots of narrow & uneven steps. Jason was a little upset as photos of the crown jewels not allowed, saying next time he will take photos, Angela his support worker joked that if he does he may end up in the stretch chamber or the bloody tower.
That evening was the highlight of the trip for Jason. Christmas with Katherine Jenkins at the Royal Albert Hall. Seeing Katherine Jenkins live has been a dream of Jason for years. He was just so so so excited. He shouted out he loves her. Which she heard and replied Thankyou.
All in all a successful trip, Jason would like a repeat!
