Gifts can go towards any part of our work from purchasing specialist equipment, assistive technology to improve individual's lives, advice and support services such as employment activities helping support someone to achieve their goals, ensuring every individual receives a holiday and many other crucial activities and projects.
Here are some examples of what your gift could mean to us:
£100 could pay for an individual to receive a course of hydrotherapy sessions
£1,000 could help many people communicate and express themselves through photography and film by being able to the purchase camera and video equipment
£10,000 could enable 15 individuals to experience an activity holiday building their self esteem and confidence
£18,000 could provide a whole year of practical support through job coaching and training
£50,000 could pay for all the specialist assistive equipment and technology required for a multiple and complex needs day service
Every gift, no matter what the size , will help ensure that our services and projects can continue in the future.
Leave FREEWAYS a legacy in your Will. You might find the following wording useful: "I give to Freeways (Freeways registered charity number 298603), Leigh Court Centre , Pill Road , Bristol BS8 3RA the sum of £ (amount in figures and words) to be used for its general charitable purposes and I direct that the receipt of the treasurer or duly authorised person shall be a valid and appropriate form of discharge". If you set up a discretionary trust for a family member or friend with learning disabilities you may wish to consider leaving any amount left in their fund after their death to Freeways. If you name Freeways as a beneficiary please use our full name and address as written above.
