In line with our goal to transform care, one of the people you will be supporting is moving to our community based support service. They can be quite reserved, but have shown an interest in making friends, finding employment and taking part in activities in the local community, and would like the team to support them in moving towards this, along with developing their independent living skills.
We are looking for people who hold or will be willing to undertake the Diploma Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care and ideally have experience relevant to the role. There is a requirement for flexible working including evenings, weekends and nights. Being a driver whilst not essential, would be an advantage for this role.

Working nights between 9.30pm and 8am you will assist our residents with any issues that arise during your shift as well as ensuring that paperwork is up to date.

Positive Behaviour Support Lead Practitioner, 22.5 to 3.75 hours a week - £28,569 per annum (pro rata)
We are looking for someone to work with us as a Lead Practitioner for our innovative Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Service. You will be passionate about transforming care, using your experience and training to provide a high level of expertise, advice and support to staff on autism-specific care and the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support.
In this exciting position you will work with our friendly and dedicated services across the former Avon area, where you will directly support people with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours. You will develop and implement personalised support plans and strategies that will deliver an increasing sense of self-management and empowerment to the people we support. You will also identify staff training needs, as well as contributing to the development of further services, and support the acquisition of new business under the direction of the PBS Senior Manager.
To be considered for the PBS Lead Practitioner role, you must have the following skills/qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support
- Will consider PBS Diploma Level 5 or above
- Previous experience as a PBS Lead
- Proficient in public speaking and delivering training packages
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
